Annual Report Cover
This illustration was created for an Annual Report cover. While taking photos for another project, I came upon a pair of feet sticking out on a fire escape (see photos). Later, when the annual report came up, I remembered the photo, and used it as the basis for this illustration. It seems to have a romantic feeling – Shakespeare’s balcony scene transfered to the tenements – while at the same time it’s an “only in New York” image.
