Cairns + Associates graphic identity
A
midsized brand strategy and marketing communications company, Cairns +
Associates had an existing identity that hadn’t kept up with the
times or the company’s success. As VP Graphic Arts at the time,
I felt it was my job to remedy the situation, so I wrote up a proposal
detailing the problems with the current identity and what we could do
to fix them. I left it for the CEO and got a glowing late night email,
having apparently excited some midnight oil burning. We rolled out the
new identity over time, and included solutions for every possible usage:
signage, stationery, memos, invoices, company checks, cards, announcements,
video introductions, the company web site – the list continues. We
produced a comprehensive design manual for distribution to the working groups.
